Senior Companion Collective was born from a simple belief: aging should be accompanied by care, dignity, and human connection.

Founded in 2026 by Janelle Mansour Barnes, the organization grew from quiet moments of noticing—listening to stories, sharing conversations, and recognizing how easily seniors can slip into loneliness as the world around them moves faster. Senior Companion Collective was created to slow things down, to offer presence over process, and to remind seniors that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
